The hay fever season is well and truly here.
I manage my hay fever symptoms with regular acupuncture sessions, especially important in the run-up to the sneezy-itchy time of the year, around mid-June for me; as well as lifestyle and diet ...
And apart from acupuncture, to manage my hay fever, the three personal fundamentals are:
2. I generally avoid grains, and especially gluten-containing ones (that's wheat, rye & barley as the main culprits), but starting around March-April, I become particularly strict about not giving in to the aroma of freshly baked croissants or moist chocolate cake slices :-) I know that being able to walk the dogs in the local common come June is way more enjoyable!
3. Exercise ... Yes, as boring as it sounds ... exercise (or being physically active, to be precise) helps. With almost every ailment.
And is there anything that you can do at home, to help alleviate the symptoms? Here, I talk about hay fever and which food might be useful and why, acupressure points for hay fever and why your lifestyle might have an effect on your hay fever symptoms.
What have you found working for you? How do manage your sneezes? Have you tried acupressure?
